A great tradition in Old Lyme! Every Summer Solstice (June 21) you will find Lyme Street alive with folks strolling the street and listening to local musicians. 2026 promises to be another exceptional year for Make Music Old Lyme! Make Music Old Lyme is a production of the Old Lyme Arts District and the MusicNow Foundation. It is a chapter of the Make Music Alliance.

Stop along the way to listen to a variety of genres including folk, pop, and Americana, or bring a chair to enjoy your favorite performers from 5pm-7pm!
Food & Fun
Enjoy a burger on the Center School lawn where you'll find the Lions' Club Grille. A sweet treat can be found at Nightingale's Acoustic Cafe and at The Chocolate Shell. Children can make their own music at the Old Lyme Historical Society at 55 Lyme Street.

We've got a full lineup of great talent to make your evening special.
