Summer Rentals

When staying in one of our summer communities, be sure to find out the activities and events put on by the local beach associations. For instance, Sound View Beach Association holds bingo in its Community Center Wednesday evenings and has Thursday night family concerts "by the flagpole" a few times during the summer. Hawk's Nest has a variety of activities, including a Friday night talent show for children.

Some cottages are also available off-season as "Academic Rentals."
These can be perfect for Lyme Academy students with available transportation.

Since 1895, families have made a tradition of spending a week at the shore at this family resort. With 45 vacation cottages, this family-oriented community has weekly planned activities for the kids including a weekly Friday afternoon talent show.
